Practical as well as cute, Buggie is crafted from Quickdry leather that has been embroidered with friendly garden critters, and is easy to whip on and off thanks to the double hook and loop straps.

Bobux shoes are designed to include a little extra ‘wiggle room’, so sizing might seem larger than other brands.

If your child measures at the beginning of a Bobux size, they’ll have around 14mm of space between their foot and the end of the shoe, allowing them 7mm of growth and 7mm of wiggle room.

Your child’s toes should never be touching the end of the shoe.

As you can see the Xplorer, Step Up and I-Walk ranges include size 22. This is because of the different developmental stages children can be at when wearing this size - some are walking confidently, others are still finding their feet! 

We try to be as flexible as we can, as we know that it is not easy with sizes!

Returns

For online purchases (except for clearance  styles as below) we have a 14 day returns policy (includes swaps) from when you receive the goods. We do refund subject to clearance policy below.

As standard, returns must be wrapped, in original packing (box), not worn outside with all tags attached and internal wrapping paper

Cost to return is yours, we suggest track & trace as it is at your risk.

Swaps

For an incorrect size (except for clearance  styles as below)  - we allow 1 swap for a change in size (cost to return is yours and we send the replacement at our cost). Phone or email us with what you would like to do and once returned we will send out the new size. To quicken the process up, you can place another order for the correct size & we'll send it out - then refund once the original is returned (at your cost).

If the second pair sent is returned we will deduct a $7-00 restocking fee from any refund.  This helps us with the cost of the 2 freight charges.

Bundles

If part of a bundle (group of items with an added discount) is returned, any amount refunded will bring the cost back to the original non bundled price.

e.g. 2 packs of socks at $20.00 each normal price, A total of $30.00 paid, 1 pair returned the refund will be $10.00. This brings the amount paid back to the non bundled price of $20.00

Clearance Lines

Clearance lines will have a specific returns policy, outlined in their product description in red. If not there then our standard returns policy applies.

Mostly they will be less a returns fee, however:

Clearance items under $60.00 are NOT RETURNABLE or SWAPPABLE

Shipping

Shipping within NZ is free. We use Aramex NZPost (courier) or Poste Haste Couriers and aim to get your purchase to you as quickly as possible.  They will leave our shop the same day (not weekends or public holidays) if ordered before 1:00p.m. or next day if ordered after.

We try to aim for overnight delivery within the North Island, but this may not happen. South Island deliveries can take 3 days or more.

Post Office Box numbers can take a bit longer, as we have to shut the shop to get to the Post Office to send, but we are happy to do it.

There is no charge for Rural Deliveries, so please add your R.D. number to make it easier for our staff.

At Bobux we use premium materials. 
We understand that all textiles are not created equal and we use each in a way that utilises their specific strengths and best contributes to the overall performance of the shoe. Given the diversity of our range, we may use a mix of materials and you'll find all the materials used in any given shoe listed in the description of that shoe. ACTION LEATHER
Wipe with a damp cloth. Dry naturally, away from direct sunlight.

CANVAS
Use a fabric stain remover for any deep stains, and scrub affected area with a nailbrush. Rinse with cold water, and allow to dry naturally. Avoid getting stain remover or water on any other areas of the shoe, as all materials have different requirements. Dry naturally, away from sunlight. Do not bleach, soak, or tumble dry.

FULL GRAIN LEATHER
Polish every 2 weeks to keep the shoes in top condition. Light scuffs can be reduced by rubbing a matching coloured shoe polish over affected area. Avoid fully immersing leather in water. Dry naturally, away from direct sunlight.Do not bleach, soak, or tumble dry.

LEATHER
Polish every 2 weeks with a natural polish such as beeswax to keep leather soft and protected. Beeswax will also provide an element of protection from water. Light scuffs can be reduced by rubbing beeswax over affected area. Avoid fully immersing leather in water. Dry naturally, away from direct sunlight. Do not bleach, soak, or tumble dry.

GLOSS LEATHER
Wipe with a damp cloth. Dry naturally, away from direct sunlight.

MICRO ARMOUR
Wipe with a damp cloth. Dry naturally, away from direct sunlight. Do not bleach, soak, or tumble dry.
