We try to be as flexible as we can, as we know that it is not easy with sizes!

Returns

For online purchases (except for clearance styles as below) we have a 14 day returns policy (includes swaps) from when you receive the goods. We do refund subject to clearance policy below.

As standard, returns must be wrapped, in original packing (box), not worn outside with all tags attached and internal wrapping paper

Cost to return is yours, we suggest track & trace as it is at your risk.

Swaps

For an incorrect size (except for clearance styles as below) - we allow 1 swap for a change in size (cost to return is yours and we send the replacement at our cost). Phone or email us with what you would like to do and once returned we will send out the new size. To quicken the process up, you can place another order for the correct size & we'll send it out - then refund once the original is returned (at your cost).

If the second pair sent is returned we will deduct a $7-00 restocking fee from any refund. This helps us with the cost of the 2 freight charges.

Bundles

If part of a bundle (group of items with an added discount) is returned, any amount refunded will bring the cost back to the original non bundled price.

e.g. 2 packs of socks at $20.00 each normal price, A total of $30.00 paid, 1 pair returned the refund will be $10.00. This brings the amount paid back to the non bundled price of $20.00

Clearance Lines

Clearance lines will have a specific returns policy, outlined in their product description in red. If not there then our standard returns policy applies.

Mostly they will be less a returns fee, however:

Clearance items under $60.00 are NOT RETURNABLE or SWAPPABLE

Shipping

Shipping within NZ is free. We use Aramex NZPost (courier) or Poste Haste Couriers and aim to get your purchase to you as quickly as possible. They will leave our shop the same day (not weekends or public holidays) if ordered before 1:00p.m. or next day if ordered after.

We try to aim for overnight delivery within the North Island, but this may not happen. South Island deliveries can take 3 days or more.

Post Office Box numbers can take a bit longer, as we have to shut the shop to get to the Post Office to send, but we are happy to do it.

There is no charge for Rural Deliveries, so please add your R.D. number to make it easier for our staff.

What is a Classic Croc actually made of?

The whole shoe — upper, footbed and outsole — is moulded in one piece from Croslite, Crocs' own closed-cell resin foam. It isn't plastic or rubber. Because it's a single piece there are no seams to rub, and the closed-cell structure means it doesn't soak up water or hold odour.

What's the difference between the Classic Croslite sole and a LiteRide one?

A Classic Croc is Croslite the whole way through, which gives that firm-but-springy feel people know. A LiteRide style keeps the Croslite shell and outsole but adds a separate LiteRide foam footbed on top — Crocs say it's around 40% softer and 25% lighter than Croslite. Choose Classic if you like some structure underfoot, LiteRide if you want a softer, sink-in feel.

Can I stand in these all day?

Plenty of people do — nurses, hospitality and retail staff especially. Croslite is light, absorbs shock well, and softens slightly with body heat so a pair moulds a little to your foot over the first few wears. If you're on hard floors for very long shifts, the LiteRide range is the softer option.

Can I wear socks with them?

Yes, and lots of people do through winter. The fit is designed to be roomy rather than snug, so most people still take their usual size with socks on.

What is Sport Mode?

Flipping the heel strap back behind the heel is called Sport Mode. It stops the shoe slipping off when you're walking quickly, driving or on uneven ground. Strap forward is the relaxed, slip-on-slip-off setting.

Can I put Jibbitz charms on these?

Yes — every Classic style has the ventilation holes Jibbitz clip into. We stock a range of charms and 5-packs online and in store at Queenwood.

Are they alright at the beach, the pool or in the garden?

That's exactly what Croslite is good at. It's water-friendly rather than water-absorbing, rinses clean and dries fast. Just don't leave them in a hot car or in full sun for hours — heat can distort the foam and change the fit permanently.

I swore never to buy shoes on line as I didn't want to risk getting the wrong size, not liking them when they do arrive, having to exchange etc. But, couldn't get what I wanted in store locally so looked on line, chose the perfect pair, ordered and crossed my fingers.
